I know it’s not quite the end of the month yet, but May has been great! Of course the highlight was my holiday in Brighton, but this weekend I took the final test for my nutrition course and I passed! I am now a certified health coach!

I started the course with IIN in July last year and it has definitely been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I’m planning to do a vlog answering all sorts of questions as I know a lot of you are interested in my experiences with it.

So yes, this month has been a good one indeed! Brighton was just fab in every way…

I shared a vlog with my thoughts on food guilt and ‘good’ and ‘bad’ foods

I gave you a recipe for raw chocolate dipped strawberry ice pops:

I wrote about how I was feeling with gaining weight and my continued issues with my lack of periods.

I took part in the Pin it Forward campaign for the launch of Pinterest here in the UK. I love Pinterest so it was great to be involved! You can follow me on Pinterest here.

I also finished off the Super Conscious Living Programme e guide!

It is being trialled with a few participants right now, and I’m hoping to launch it later in the summer :-) So exciting!

As much as I’ve been away for part of the month, I feel like I’ve been very productive finishing off my course and the e guide.

Goals for June

source

  • Get back to a good solid healthy eating and an exercise routine, including reducing caffeine and sugar to more moderate levels
  • Bust out my juicer and start juicing on the weekends
  • Complete the 5 day raw till 4 plan
  • Enjoy working on my first community healthy eating session and build my confidence in this
  • Get super financially organised

As much as I love holidays and lots of variety in my life, I am the kind of person that thrives with some kind of routine. I’m looking forward to getting back into a groove with my eating and exercise again. I loved the more indulgent foods I ate on holiday, but eating them reminded me how they effect me physically (cravings, increased appetite, head aches, poor sleep) and how much I love healthy food!

Another thing I enjoyed in Brighton was drinking fresh juices. Now that the weather has finally become a little warmer, I really want to dust off the juicer and get making juices again. Next week I am quite excited to be trying out the Raw to Door 5 day Raw till 4 plan. I was contacted to see if I would like to give it a try, and I thought why not! As much as I have dabbled in raw foods and detoxes in the past, I have not done anything like this. It’s going to be an interesting experiment!

This coming Saturday I am going to be doing some food / cooking demonstrations at a local school’s family fun day. I am really excited but a little nervous! However I am a firm believer in pushing yourself outside your comfort zone in order to build confidence. I think it’s going to be really good fun!

June is my last month in full time employment before I start working part time and become a part time health coach / blogger / community healthy eating worker! Eek! In many ways it’s great as I have been working all hours to keep things going with the blog, studying on my course and developing the health coaching practice. Now is the time to make sure I am very organised in all aspects of my life, especially financially, to keep things moving!

How has May been for you? What would you like to achieve in June?
