One of the areas of healthy living I’ve been doing more research in recently is the use of herbs and their role in supporting various conditions and ailments. I came across this really useful ‘Herb Body Map’ from Baldwins which I think is so useful! It’s certainly a useful reference for anyone interested in medicinal herbs and a good starting point for further research. There’s a lot of herbs on there that I’m already familiar with, but a few I have never heard of. There’s also some useful new information, for example I had no idea that echinacea is anti acne!

Do you use any herbal remedies? My favourite of the herbs mentioned above has to be mint in the form of mint tea for digestion. What are your favourites?

Thank you so much for this! I’m just back from Holland and Barrett to stock up on a few things, especially some natural remedies for IBS. This is so helpful for selecting the most appropriate supplements to help as there are so many to choose from.

I’m a big fan of herbs! I like echinacea for colds, rhodiola/ashwaganda and ginseng as stress adatogens, dandelion is great for detoxing also.

Yay, thanks for this Laura! Have often wondered what more I could be getting for me and hubs from herbs, especially for the stomach problems we suffer with from time to time.

Am severely behind on blog matters, work and play but not much rest at mo! X
