Yesterday I had my first taste of acupuncture!
I had heard lots of good things about this therapy for treating hormonal problems (amongst a lot of other health issues) and decided to try it out. I went to a therapist recommended to me by a work colleague. He asked me all sorts of questions, as well as looking at my tongue and taking my pulse, before sticking eleven needles in my feet, knees, belly, hand and forehead. Then I was left to relax for a while before having a neck and head massage. It was bliss! I felt quite tired after the session which I think can be normal. I’m going to go every couple of weeks for a while and see if it helps, will report back!

On the Love list this week…
Wide leg trousers! Let me explain, for the last few years I have been a committed ‘skinnies’ girl, with the occasional straight leg thrown in too. However I saw these wide leg trousers in the sales (Oasis) and decided to get them. I’ve had them hanging in the wardrobe this past couple of months and finally decided to get them out. I love them! I feel like they flatter my shape and look really smart. I have shortish legs so I have to wear these with a little heel. I wore them with a striped top from People Tree and a statement necklace from French Connection. Also…
Beautiful sunrises and sunsets // the feeling of spring in the air // having a 3 day week coming up // Thai curries with chicken and beef // listening to Bowie in the car – slightly obsessed with his music at the mo // This quote from Bruce Lee // mind mapping new projects // lighter mornings and evenings
