Hello from Brighton! We are having a great time enjoying the sunshine and the live music as part of The Great Escape Festival. I drove down from the North East in the torrential rain on Wednesday but I’m glad to say it’s been great weather so far.
Although it was a bit windy on the sea front!
Here’s what we’ve been up to so far…
We picked up our wrist bands for the festival on Wednesday night. The festival hub has been showing some great bands from the trailer stage:
We’ve enjoyed wondering around the shops in the North Laine:
I’ve tried some delicious cold brew coffee:
As well as Froyo…
This was salted caramel and dark chocolate, amazing!
There has also been some healthier foods like fresh cherries and green tea in my Aunts back garden…
Mixed berry Coyo I picked up from Infinity Foods for breakfast with a sliced apple, granola and mixed seeds…
…and a chicken salad from a local deli:
I’ve also had plenty of pear cider and beer while we’ve been watching bands. It’s been so lovely to just relax and enjoy ourselves, we met up with some friends yesterday and went for a pizza as well, so much fun! Exercise has been lots of walking to and from my Aunt and Uncles house in Hove into and around Brighton, which suits me just fine :-)
Right now we are looking forward to another day of the same! Definitely more of the froyo, I have a serious addiction to that stuff!
Hope you are having a good week! What do you have planned for the weekend? Have you been to any alternative style music festivals? Any fellow froyo fans?
