Happy Sunday everyone, hope you are having a good one! My weekend has been filled with the smell of BBQ’s, Arrested Development, birds singing me to sleep, watching movies with James and making what feels like 100 raw truffles to take to an event I have coming up next week!
On Friday morning I was booked to do another healthy eating demo at the opening of a new community facility. It went really well, everyone loved the healthy cookies I made and were lining up waiting to eat them as they came out of the oven! I’m so pleased that this new part of my work is going well.
Yesterday was my nephew Harry’s 5th Birthday so I went round to my Sisters for a little party in her back garden, OOTD:
The weather was incredible yesterday! I bought Harry a super soaker and you can imagine how much he enjoyed himself with that! I also went to see my best friend as well, so a lovely day all round.
Happy Birthday Harry!
I am now on the last day of my Raw to Door detox and as much as the first 3 days were plain sailing, I’m really glad today is the final day!
The juices and meals have been really good though, and I haven’t seemed to experience any detox symptoms such as headaches so far. On the menu for Friday evening was this delicious rainbow rice with sesame:
Juices have included…
I’m really looking forward to a chocolate banana smoothie this afternoon!
Last nights meal was this Raw to Door lasagne:
That was delicious and I liked that it was heavy on the veg and not so much on the pasta. Most of the meals have been quite carb heavy by my standards, but I’ll talk about that more in my full review later in the week.
As I was saying on Friday I have been supplementing the detox with coconut water and dandy blend and yesterday I made a lovely slushie with them:
I’m really looking forward to recapping my detox experience alongside a few of my thoughts on detoxing in general.
How has your weekend been so far? Do you have any nieces or nephews? How old are they? I always struggle with ideas for what to buy the kids for birthdays but they seem to be happy enough!
