I love a good bit of fashion inspo, especially from real people which is one of the reasons I love blogs so much! Since I’ve been blogging I’ve tried joining a few different outfit sharing sites, but have never really been able to stick with it. I recently became aware of Stylight, which is a similar concept to the other sites I’ve used, but has the addition of being able to like products and create ‘looks’ with them.

As well as uploading photographs of yourself and your outfits to share with the Stylight community, you can add a selection of products from the Stylight database (either the actual item or similar ones). You can browse the trending looks for some great outfit inspiration, or search through the product database. I created this look on my profile:

I love that you can even add music and video clips, and upload images from a URL or Instagram!

The way I’m going to use Stylight is for planning outfits. I’m going to find products in their database (you can use the search button at the top of the page) similar to items I already own, or in the case of my vintage stuff, upload images and then create looks with them. I think it’s a really fun idea for being able to think about, and plan outfits!

Here’s another look I created:

Here I added an image of my own vintage dress, some products from the Stylight database and linked to an image from Pinterest. This is going to be so addictive, I could easily waste away an afternoon on here!

There are definitely some similarities with Pinterest in the way that you create ‘boards’ but what I also love is that you can move the elements of your look around and get really creative. My profile is here if you’d like to follow!

Have you heard of Stylight before? Is this something you’d enjoy using?
