This month has been cr-a-zy. It’s been my first month as a part time health coach / blogger / community healthy living worker / writer / charity development manager (like I said, crazy!) and I have been on one hell of a steep learning curve. I’ve discovered that however long you think something will take you to do, treble it. I’ve learned a lot about dealing with my own self doubt, and where that comes from. I’ve also realised that I could have done so many things better, but, I have actually done a lot of things right too. I’ve been feeling hugely inspired in the last few days, and I’m very excited about putting some big plans into action this coming month, it’s going to be a good one!
July was another whirlwind month, I went down to London and met Gok again of course!

I invested in a new computer..
…and revamped my workspace as well. Isn’t it pretty! I super sized my inspiration board and generally made it a very ‘me’ place to get creative. If you are eagle eyed you will also be able to see my new hula hoop in the corner!
I think we can all agree that is more me that the plain black one I had been using! I bought this from Peachy Steve via eBay. It’s collapsable so easy to take with you if you need to travel with it.
We also enjoyed some fun things like seeing friends for drinks, going to the cinema and having coffee and cake in some new to us cool coffee shops!
I also finished up a funding application for a community healthy living project I’d like to deliver and made some big steps in getting my ideas for e guides and other exciting things developed. Plus I’m in a very relaxed place with my eating, exercise and how I feel about my body, that is just the greatest thing!
August is going to be epic. Here’s why:
- It’s my birthday!
- I’m getting some new tattoos (tomorrow!)
- It’s my 5 year wedding aniversary
- I might be taking another little trip down to Brighton
- It’s the one year anniversary of setting up the business
August always rocks!
In terms of goals all I’d really like to do is keep the good things going! There are a few little things that I’d like to keep an eye on including budgeting, especially for food, and reducing my coffee intake. Everything else just seems to be falling into place and I don’t feel the need to set any specific goals to keep myself accountable for anything.
I have a lot of things I’d like to do business and blog wise, and I need to make sure I manage my own time and expectations around those. Hopefully you should be seeing a few new things around here as the month goes on.
