Hey there, I’m Laura!

I’m a wellbeing coach, business mentor and designer (yep, I wear a lot of hats!) 

I work with women who feel overwhelmed, disconnected and stuck and who don’t have an effing clue where to start when it comes to getting their life and wellbeing on track. I support them to live well with intention via some of my favourite tools – planning, creating solid routines and connecting with the seasons – all in a practical, down to earth bullshit free way.

I’ve been on a long journey to find my healthiest, happiest self – it’s something I’m still exploring but I’ve come a long way.

Here on the blog I write about some of the things I’m most passionate and excited about – self care, slow intentional living, food, planning, routines and living with the seasons. I started blogging back in 2010 and became a certified health coach in 2012. I’ve definitely been at this a while!

I live in our 1960’s semi (which we’re always busy decorating and improving!) in beautiful historic Durham in North East England with my husband James and my son Finley. I’m currently expecting our second child!

When I’m not blogging, coaching or designing websites, you can find me drinking too much coffee, planning our next beach or cabin trip or getting messy in the garden.

How do I work?

I help women who feel super overwhelmed, disconnected from life and like they’re stuck on a hamster wheel figure out what it is they really want their lives to look like – from their wellbeing to their homes, work and more – and then make that a reality. 

I support you to develop a range of practical tools to help you make sustainable and consistent changes in your life so that you start living more by intention and less by default. My favourite tools to use with clients include planning, creating routines that really work and living more seasonally. 

And since this affects everything – we always check in around mindset because how we think impacts so much in our lives – real change is impossible without a change in your mindset!

I support women via 1-2-1 coaching and my courses and programmes – my coaching work is a kind of mash up of health coaching, life coaching, business mentoring (when required) and being a bloody good cheerleader! 

You are worth pursuing a life that feels good inside and out – we all are. This is what my journey has been about – from losing weight, discovering self care, leaving my job and setting up my business, moving house – it’s all been driven by an awareness of what I want my life and wellbeing to look and feel like.

So often we hyper focus on a single area of our life that feels broken – like our weight, or our relationships.

But I believe that when we take a step back and look at the big picture, figure out what is really not working and how we’d like things to look instead, that we’re much better able to take the sustainable steps to improve all areas of our life. 

This is something I like to call living a more wholehearted life – hence, Wholeheartedly Laura!
