We have been enjoying what will probably be our last holiday before the baby comes this week. Brighton has been great, and it’s been wonderful to see my aunt and uncle so they can see the bump!
I’ve found that walking around has been rather tougher than usual due to the extra weight I’m carrying, and some shoes I haven’t worn since last year are a little tighter too! Other than that I’ve been feeling good and enjoying having a really pregnant looking bump to show off, it’s quite amazing lying in bed at night and feeling just how big my uterus is now!
First Half Favourites
Now that I’m almost half way though the pregnancy I thought I’d share some of the things that have helped me so far. I’m blatantly taking inspiration for this post from one of my favourite beautiful pregnant bloggers Kaelah from The Clueless Girls Guide. I’ve been loving her pregnancy style!
From top left to right: Jules Oliver Minus Nine to One: my favourite pregnancy / baby book // Popchips: My ultimate morning sickness cure // long line stripy vest from H&M // Stripy dress from H&M // Primark maternity jeggings, in fact most of Primarks Maternity line // green smoothies! // Neom Cocooning Gift Set // Rennies: for heartburn of course // stretchy bra tops // Baby Center Phone App: great for tracking the baby’s development // Vita Coco Coconut Water
Sometimes it’s just having those things that make life a little easier and that make you feel better which make all the difference!
If you’ve had a baby, did you have any particular favourite things that helped you though the first half? If you haven’t experienced the joys of pregnancy, what are your favourites right now? Any phone apps you are loving?
Eek I can’t believe you’re already half way through! Can’t wait to see you in a couple of hours x
I love Jules Oliver thanks for the info i will need to grab hold of her book! And tell my preggo sister about primark maternity range she is about as far along as you but its her third!
It really is a great book and def tell your sis about the Primark stuff!
So exciting that you’re halfway through Laura – do you feel like it has gone super fast? Love the stripes :)
I do! I was talking to people last week and it’s actually scary how fast it’s flown over, so looking forward to meeting the baby, but enjoying pregnancy too!
I must buy myself some of those crop top bras I love them for hanging about the house and I need some cool coloured ones!
Wow half way through already!
Those jeggings look like they would be comfy to un-pregnant people too!
Haha I keep saying to James I’ll be wanting to wear my maternity jeans even when I’m not preggers as they are so comfy!
Wow it is flying by! Glad you had fun in Brighton :) I STILL haven’t tried Popchips yet but I rarely see the small bags, and lord knows if I get a big bag I’ll demolish it all.
You’ll have to give them a try, but I do agree, a whole bag does not last long around me!
