A couple of weeks ago I was very kindly sent some goodies from one of my all time favourite shops, TK Maxx. I absolutely love that shop, I have bought so much fitness gear from there, as well as dresses and jumpers. I also seriously lust after all of their interiors collections, gorgeous!
I am certainly no fashion blogger, I think what I tend to cover on here would be better classed as personal style really, mine being a bit random sometimes I guess! Anyway, I picked out a couple of pieces that I thought suited my style. First up, this lovely stripy jumper from the cardigans and jumpers section:
I have a small obsession with stripy tops and this jumper is a great autumn / winter addiction to my collection.
It’s a great fit and the fabric feels of good quality. It will be great for Christmas time as it has some metallic thread running through the neckline and bottom hem which gives it a little sparkle.
Next was this fabulous knitted jacket from the the jackets and coats selection:
I really love this knitted jacket, it wasn’t the kind of thing I would usually go for, but I knew that it would be practical for wearing in the colder weather. However I have had it on none stop, as the weather has been reasonably mild, I’ve just been wearing this over dresses for work.
It also goes well with jeans and boots, such a versatile addiction to my wardrobe!
Last but not least is this fabulous muted animal print dress from the the dresses selction:
This came with it’s own belt, but I added my wide belt on top as it seemed a little big on me. Perhaps I should have gone for the next size down.
James insisted on me giving you a cheeky tattoo shot (me having forgot to iron the dress, doh!) I am looking forward to showing off my mandala tattoos on the backs of my legs when wearing this. I think I’ll be wearing this a lot over the Christmas period!
Big thanks to TK Maxx for these! Have you bought anything special for autumn and winter season? Have you shopped at TK Maxx?

I adore TK Maxx and shop there regularly. I think some people tend to be out off as they think it’s going to be a disorganized mess, but it’s not. We got so many props from there for our wedding and a house is practically decorated in TK Maxx accessories.
I agree! I think that some of the newer shops are even better, they opened a new shop in Newcastle which seems to be far more organised than the old one.
Best TK Maxx’s in London – Hammersmith and Kensington High Street – love the Ken High St one!
Oh I’ll have to check out the one on Ken High St the next time I’m down!
Love the jacket, looks very snuggly.
We have a TKMAX local and I have to fight hard not to go in every time I am close …. mostly I loose and go in ;-)
Haha I’m the same with the one’s near me, I’m usually good at saying no but then James wants to look in for something – typically I’m the one that walks out having spent the money!
I find TK Maxx a little overwhelming, to be honest. I know you can get a good bargain there, but I think the website is better for me, order things, try them on and take back what doesn’t work. My aunt swears by it!
I used to feel the same way but I think the stores near me have been improved as they definitely don’t seem as crazy as they used to be! I do think the website is a great idea though, much easier to spot things you like :-)
I used to work at TK Maxx whilst I was a at uni and I think it’s fab. The Le Creuset range there is really well priced. I have brought a few of their cerise items. Yesterday I managed to find a coat stand and wall art perfect for the new house. Things i’d been struggling to find anywhere else for some time now. Buying xmas gifts is also great there – there’s always good brands of toiletries and stocking fillers like socks. It’s defo one of the best shops out there! :-)
Oh I never knew yo used to work there, I bet that was great! The Le Creuset stuff is on my wish list, it looks such great quality. I bought loads of xmas gifts there last year, love the scented candles!
I have to say I never really find anything in TK Maxx other then the exercise equipment, usually I get frustrated just being in there because its like a jumble sale with clothes all over the place! Loving your picks though x
I know we’ve noticed the difference between the store in Brighton and the ones we go to at home which seem to be far more organised. I think I forgot to mention workout gear, I have bought so much great stuff from there!
Very pretty! I never go into TK Maxx…Mostly because we don’t have one near us! But also because I get stressed out when there’s so many clothes. Like Primark. Unless I’m looking for something absolutely specific. I have to be in a certain frame of mind. But all those pieces look lovely.
Haha Primark is insane! Yeah I do know what you mean, it’s a bit like shopping in the sales isn’t it.
I really love that dress! I don’t always have the patience for TK, I really ought to make more effort!
It’s lovely isn’t it! I know what you mean, I think the website does make it easier to find those gems :-)
that coat is gorgeous!! Well, I recently bought a few items in NYC as you know :o) And I have a few dresses that are perfect for the inbetween wheather. Don’t know the shop though, haven’t got those over here. X
I loved your NYC picks! They have the stores in the states I think called TJ Maxx instead for some reason. Yep the coat is totally my fave :-)
