Alignment and Energetics
If you’re highly sensitive or heart centred, then choosing strategies that feel ‘aligned’ is going to be absolutely key to having your business grow.
But what is alignment? Simply, it’s when we are ‘doing’ in a way that matches up with our core values. It’s when we understand who we are authentically, and honour that in the way we choose to take action.
When you’re more highly sensitive and heart centred, the impact of trying to ‘make’ yourself carry out actions that are out of alignment will cause distress to your nervous system and can create a cycle of overwhelm and burnout which obviously isn’t helpful when it comes to making your business work!
When we choose strategies that are in alignment with who we are and what we want, we’re able to channel our energy effectively. The strategy provides the structure and ‘container’ for our energy to flow smoothly.
On the topic of energy, we need to understand how our business practices are interlinked with our nervous system. Ultimately our businesses will only grow in line with what we can energetically ‘hold’ and what our nervous system can maintain.
This is why practices that support our nervous systems can be very helpful while growing a coaching business, alongside doing the mindset work and self enquiry needed to expand what we can hold within our businesses.
Imagine it like this – if you’re a brand new coach whose previous career was as a teaching assistant in a small primary school, suddenly finding yourself managing a six figure business and 40 clients who all need to be served would probably place you under a huge amount of stress and pressure.
We build energetic capacity as we grow – especially as highly sensitive individuals.
The Role of Systems
I love systems! Although the topic of systems may sound a bit robotic and dry, when we pay attention to the systems we create in our business and even in our lives, we make it easier for us to thrive.
A system is a process that often includes automatic or automated components. A system makes carrying out the actions within your strategy more energy efficient which can be really helpful when you’re highly sensitive.
Systems in a coaching business can look like workflows, routines, systems built using tech and so on.
Creating a system with automated components that helps you attract clients can often be one of the best ways to grow your coaching business as a heart centred coach.

How to use strategy and alignment together for a more successful business
The truth is, you can’t have a successful business as someone who is heart centered or highly sensitive without both the strategy and the alignment.
If you go all in with the strategy with no regard for what aligns with your values and needs you’ll end up burned out. If you go all in with alignment and no strategy you’ll keep spinning your wheels and tangible results will be much more challenging to achieve.
Good strategies, structures and systems, give your aligned energy a path to flow through and provide a container for your energy.
