Do you ever struggle with healthy snack ideas? I’m generally ok until it comes to being out and about. If I haven’t brought something with me, it can be really hard to find a healthy option, depending on where you are. I’m a huge fan of almonds, so when I was asked to take part in the California Almonds #SnackHappy campaign I was more than happy to get back on track with snacking on some nuts!
Almonds are a great food to snack on as they have good amounts of healthy fat and some protein, as well as being low in sugar. They taste great too!
The California Almonds Snack Happy Challenge encourages women to snack on a handful of almonds every day for 21 days to see how good they feel at the end of it. I’ve got my almonds at the ready, as well as some lovely little nut cases so I can carry the almonds round with me when I’m on the go. I absolutely love the idea of a nut case, something I came across in an interesting diet book a few months ago. The nut cases mean that you can be a bit more portion controlled too!
For the next 21 days I’ll be enjoying my daily almonds then reporting back how I feel.
